Just the beginning

It seems obvious that "Star Trek" is the ultimate prequel. Given the appearance of Capt. Pike, Jim Kirk's mentor from the original TV series, this movie tells the tale of James T. Kirk from birth to renegade Captain of the USS Enterprise. I foresee several motion pictures spawning from this release, and probably a TV series down the road. If this is what the producers have in mind, then they're off to a good start.
Yes, I recommend this movie.
