See It For the Effects

Trailers for the The Day the Earth Stood Still highlighted its special effects. After seeing the movie, I can tell you that in that department, this movie does not disappoint. It's visually stunning but, sadly does not match up story-wise. In fact, I felt it leaves you hanging at the end. All in all, you'll love the effects, suspense, and performance by Jaden Christopher Syre Smith.
Yes, I recommend this movie.

Yet another adult who didn't read the books, but enjoyed the movie. It's a sweet romance that keeps you entertained. The dialogue is cheesy, but meant to be light and make you laugh. It's great for teens and those a little older. I say, see it!
