No matter whether you like the movie or not,you have to admit it stayed true to form.There is no way on earth they could do the driving stunts from the original cartoon in real life. The physics of it alone are impossible. So if you came to see a "Days of Thunder" type movie,you wasted your time. But if you came to see "Speed Racer" in the flesh,you made a worthwhile trip.Don't look for hidden meanings or subplots in this movie,just enjoy a trip down nostalgia boulevard and sit back because Speed's got the wheel.
Yes, I recommend this movie.
