Great Acting But Unfocused Script

The acting, costumes, and sets in the movie were excellent. Many individual scenes in the movie were compelling. However, overall the script lost focus because it attempted to cover too much ground. There wasn't enough character development because of the constant shifts in time and place. The movie would have been much better if it had simply covered the life of Dillinger without putting so much time into Hoover, Purvis, and the FBI.
Yes, I recommend this movie.
