My husband and I were prepared for this movie to be really scary. We had read that people walked out of the theater, couldn't sleep with the lights off for days after seeing it, etc. Neither of us thought it was that scary...however we did enjoy the movie, thought the cast did a convincing job and overall liked the premise. We slept fine last night.
My husband and I were expecting this to be a great sound and visual experience. Instead, the visual quality was poor...grainy...not high definition, and the sound was awful. The theater told us we could leave and get a refund because the sound was so soft for the first 30 minutes and they said it was the film. Then the sound got louder, so we stayed, but it NEVER got good. The banter between programs was really stupid...it was obvious it was scripted and the people were nervous. I did like the footage of some of the drum corps rehearsing for this year. Those behind the scenes segments were neat.
