Funny/Teaching character

My husband thought the movie was very good and funny! The grandkids loved it.
The story kept your attention by all the action and funny things that happen. The story taught character values through a young boy who had no confidence in himself and had to rise himself up to help save the bird that he loved in the movie. The old man was grumpy and hard to get along with and he learned character by forgetting himself and helping save the life of his little friend, and dog and bird that came into life. They became friends.
