Why is it that animated films always have better plots than live action movies?
The film is wonderful, the main dragon acted way too much like my cat, and the voice actors were great.
The 3D was a nice enhancement, but the story itself carried the movie It wasn't life or death important to view it in 3D, especially with the price increase for 3D films.
Yes, I recommend this movie.

This new 3D is the future...it brings the film to life .Not the tacky way other 3D would throw something out of the screen at you; it's much more subtle.
I would definitely want more films shot this way; it adds to the movie experience...

As for people saying the plot is predictable: this is what happens every time a region is colonized. The native people always get screwed over by the invading forces that want something the natives have.
Yes, I recommend this movie.
