Take my advice...if you're teetering on whether to see this in theaters or not...just wait. Wait until its on video or on HBO...wait until it's on network television...wait until its the fox sunday afternoon movie..but DON'T pay to see this piece of garbage in the theaters. In essence, this movie was two incredibly long hours involving stupid plot lines, terrible acting, and inconceivable action sequences. The things that made the first three so exciting was there was always a shroud of believability...even in the most outrageous scenes. I was not impressed with anything regarding this movie. What's worse is they made it apparent that the torch is going to be passed to Shia, who has become Steven Spielberg's new toy. It's almost Michael Jackson-esque; man-crush they have for one another. To each his own, I suppose. Bottom line: if you only want to see this movie for sentimental value, you're much better off just renting and watching the first three and not tarnishing the memory of them.
