Close but still a knockoff

A lot of the same action, stunts and special effects we've seen before with Indy movies. If there weren't 3 better ones already made (yes, even the second one) this would stand out more. Reminds me of The Mummy movies with Brendan Fraser. Visually pretty strong, but story and characters not so much. An Indiana Jones wanna be. Thought the characters were kind of cardboard and just going through the motions. Some stunts were just silly. Liked the 1950's setting and for fans of the series, it's still fun enough.
Yes, I recommend this movie.
