I did not want to see this movie because of the reviews. But I took an actress who played the grandmother in the film, to see herself, and was very pleasantly surprised. It is a woman's picture. Although I think the producers were undecided when they made the film. It seems they were going for an X rating at the start. They toned down a lot of the unnecessary jokes for teen age boys. And that left the picture in Limbo for reviewers. It is well cast, well directed and the photography is exceptional. The story is reminiscent of many other modern love stories, but exceptionally well acted by the two leads.
