Heath Ledger turns in an oscar-worthy performance as the evil, psychotic archenemy of Batman. The dark figure of the Joker is sharply in contrast to the previous depiction of the campy, Nicholson version. Ledger's portrayal is bone-chilling and creepy. Gone are the days of laughing gas and joy buzzers. Instead, look forward to seeing Ledger crawl under your skin as he torments his victims with his scarred smile and greasy hair. He welds a knife that's scarier than a bunch of hard-core weapons. Batman fans will revel in Christen Bale's performance as the ultimate Dark Knight. By far the best Batman the silver screen has ever seen, the armored suit is the coolest to date. See this vigilante works against the mobsters of Gotham City with a belt full of high-tech gadgets.
