Indiana Jones and The One Last Big Pay Day

This movie is a great example of a timeless trueism. No matter how brilliant the special effects, or how famous the actors/director/producer, if the story is weak the movie will suck.
I fully expect to have to suspend my disbelief for an Indiana Jones movie. SPOILER ALERT!!! They totally lost me though, when the crew plunged over the third gigantic waterfall in less than 5 minutes and all showed up on shore afterwards without a scratch.
If this movie were half as clever as the original "Raiders of the Lost Ark" they would have come up with some last minute twist prior to the third waterfall plunge-as in the famous bazaar scene from the original "Raiders" when Indy famously remembered that he had a GUN as well as a whip when things looked particularly bleak.
It just seemed to me like the producers were more concerned with setting up the inevitible video game and future sequels than they were in telling a great story. Save your money. Rent the DVD if you must see this flick. It should be in the stores pretty soon.
