I sat between those that read, and reread the books, and a few that have never picked up any of the books. All agree that there were a lot of "hold for emotion" scenes that could have been left out. It got compared to a big party. Now and again you hear that someone left, or something bad happened somewhere that you missed, and mostly you got to wait with some friends till something interesting happened. Over all a good movie, but not great. And parents when you hear that the movies are getting darker it has nothing to do with the lighting.
Yes, I recommend this movie.

A trip worth taking

Everything was well balanced so that is one aspect was absent you would feel like something was missing. The acting was amazing. This is one of those movies I would say around Oscar time, "how did it win so many awards, it did not even make any money"?. If this does not get at least once Oscar I will never give credit to the Academy, it was that good. The reason I did not give 5 stars as I was hoping to hear more fictional and non-Fictional stories about Mr. Bush.
Yes, I recommend this movie.
