My first impression of the film, "Angels and Demons", lead me to believe that the film would be as suspenseful and as plausible as the "Da Vinci Code" had been--however, I found the film to be a bit disappointing. Aside from the fact that this film required (in my opinion) a lot of knowledge about the history of the Catholic Church to fully understand, I found it to be too contrived and, in some respects, ridiculous. I understand that fiction requires the "willing suspension of disbelief", but I found the manner in which Robert Langdon solved each mystery (within an hour, no less) to be very unbelievable. I guess I need to read the book.
