Doing a movie like this takes real skill to keep the series feel after such a long break between this and the other Jones Movies.
The simple board breaking punch noises and somewhat funny special effects had to of been done on purpose so viewers could relate and familurize themselves between this and the other series films before it.
Indiana Jones was always a playful action series that makes you say "oh ya, right" with a chuckle. Many people miss that point of this fun series.
This type of movie sparks the imagination of many kids and adults, while giving archeology and history a real fun and action packed sport light.
The excellent blend of action, comedy and a good story makes the film move along without many (if any) dull spots.
I look forward to seeing the next generation of young indie movies if they develop!
