This was my favorite book only behind "The Deathly Hallows" and I came in with high hopes. The beginning held very true to the book, but after about an hour they started adding scenes unnecessarily and leaving out important "memories" of Voldemort's youth. I felt that they really missed the mark here and I was even more shocked to find that Ralph Fiennes doesn't even make an appearance in this film. He plays the part of the villain so well it would have been nice to see how he got that way.
Overall I enjoyed myself, but I was very disappointed with the story that they chose to tell. J.K. Rowling's story was very different in my mind.
