I rarely say that a movie is better than a book. In this case the movie was better than the book. Of the series, New Moon was my least favorite. Stewart and Lautner did an amazing job making me like both characters. New Moon blew the wind in my sails again and made me pick up the books and start reading again. I can't wait for Eclipse to come out!

I was truly looking forward to the movie after reading the series. I was bored during the first part of the movie, and it wasn't until the middle of the movie that I started to feel some "movie adaptation" redemption. I feel for these actors because the editing was awful. Whoever edited this film, did not spend much time or thought on flow. I think for the next film (if one is in fact produced) that they need to get a new director, film editor, and a new writer. This film did not do justice to Ms. Meyer's books. Now with all this said... I did "enjoy" the film. I know that they were working with a very limited budget. I am going to see it again to see if I come out of it with different feelings.
Yes, I recommend this movie.
