I don't take the time to write reviews but this movie was so incredible I had to! Sure, the story was formulaic and some of the actors could have been more realistically drawn; that is an insignificant drawback to the most spectacular and awe-inspiring special effects produced to this point in time. I found the movie to be exciting, touching and to carry a strong message about our interconnection with all of life... but those scenes of flying were so breath-taking that it is hard to remember anything else. A MUST-see, for now and for a long time to come.
This was predictable and, disappointingly so, boring. The special effects were great, the humor was still good, but it just didn't have the "zing" of previous films and it was hard to be invested in the characters or what happened to them next. I actually nodded off a few times and had to elbowed awake by my husband! So, in a nutshell, probably great for kids who are young enough to not be jaded by special effects yet and would really enjoy them but not be too young to be scared by the mummy/dead bodies. A hard audience to find in this day and age! Adults might want to invest their money somewhere else unless they are just die-hard fans of this series.
