The POWER of COMEDY!

"Grown Ups" was more fun than a barrel full of monkeys! I hadn't laughed so hard since "Zohan". It was the perfect escape after a rough day at work,
The all-star cast was superb. Every character was hilarious! Not to mention the beautiful eye candy provided by Salma Hayek and the hot chicks in this flic!
There was a nice blend of family and friendship in the story too. With Adam Sandler leading the pack, the grown ups are just as wild & crazy as the kids.
I came out the theater feeling good and all smiles! In this messed up economy, that's saying something!

Fun-Action-Romance At Its Best!

"Knight and Day" is just too cool for school! It's got the humor, romance, action and story that make watching a movie so enjoyable.
Tom Cruise is a master of his craft and at the top of his game! And Cameron Diaz is just as brilliant in her performance! They make a great on-screen couple and bubble with chemistry.
From the very beginning, you wonder where this movie is going. Director James Mangold takes you on a journey full of twists and turns like a Six Flags rollercoaster.
This is a film that removes the "seriousness" out of life and allows you to see the lighter, funnier, and adventureous side.
Yes, I recommend this movie.

More Than A Toy Story...

Toy Story 3 was well worth seeing in the theater! This is what a great movie is all about...creative script, an unpredictable story, adventure, humor, emotion, romance...it was all there!
I was expecting to see a "kiddy movie". Instead Disney and Pixar drew me into a world where the toys became real characters, with mature and complex problems.
I laughed, I got teary eyed, I was completely entertained!
My only disappointment was a scene where the darker colored toys were presented as the "bad guys". Subconcious racism?
Still, the film gives "toys" the respect they deserve. And no matter what your age, this "movie" will "move" you.

Wild West Hex!

Hey! I liked this film! It had a comic book style story and was reminiscent of 80's action cinema. The Native American and African-American elements gave the picture depth and added culture.
Josh Brolin plays one mean Mo Fo! Half dead and half alive, he's not your ordinary gunslinger.
And once again Megan Fox is a total FOX! She's no damsel in distress and really kicks butt.
But I think director Jimmy Hayward could have gotten more out of John Malkovich who is normally incredibly dynamic when he plays a villian. Remember him in "Con Air", "Beowulf", and "Burn After Reading"?
"Jonah Hex" isn't a Sergio Leone Spaghetti Western. But If you're into seeing a new style of cowboy flic, and you can get past the "Toy Story 3" crowd, you'll get a kick and a hoot out of this one!

Jaden + Jackie = Very Cool!

Hey! I loved this movie! What an awesome remake of the classic 80's flic!
This one took me on an all new journey, where African-American and Asian culture collide. It exposed me to modern day China, and rekindled my childhood admiration for martial arts.
This is a great movie for kids. It's inspiring and opens the door for children of all races to be tolerant of one another.
Jaden was amazing! He's got talent and fighting skills to boot. I look forward to seeing more of him in years to come. He'd make a great action star like his pops.
Check out this funny and heart warming film. You won't be disappointed.

A-Team is AWESOME!

Now this is the RIGHT way to make a movie based off a 80's hit television series! Full of unpredictable twists and turns, action packed, and funny as hell, the A-Team is well worth seeing on the big screen.
The cast is top notch and give stellar performances. These are no one dimensional action heroes. They each have depth of character and come toether well as a team!
Hats off to John Singleton for directing another crazy cool piece of cinema!
Now if only Knight Rider could be adapted into a motion picture like this!!

Almost Time To Airbend!

I can't wait for The Last Airbender live-action movie to be released! I'm a huge fan of the animated series, toys, card game, etc., etc...
This is the type of story I LOVE...spiritual, action packed, and for all to enjoy.
In a world of silly, nonsense-filled children's cartoons, it's a breath of fresh air to have a concious and enlightening story like the original AVATAR!
May your big screen release be just as spectacular!

Swashbuckling Good Time!

This was a really fun movie! Jake G. gave a pretty dynamic performance and convinced me that a White Boy could be The Prince Of Persia!
The story seemed contrived at times, but it kept me entertained through out.
Alfred Molina gives good comic support to the cast and Ben Kingsley is a master of his craft.
All in all, it's well worth the trip to the AMC!

Violently Funny!

This is great stuff! Not for kids, but definately great stuff!
From the gritty pages of John Romita Jr.'s comic book comes a wickedly entertaining tale of a boy trying to be a super-hero in a world devoid of people who care!
The action is intense! I haven't seen anything like this since Kill Bill! This film is a true homage to Asian cinema like Shogun Assassin! And I enjoyed it much more than Watchmen!
Performance wise, Chloe Moretz was totally awesome! She could be the next Natalie Portman!
And as violent as the movie may be, it has great social commentary on violence in pop culture and the widespread nature of "spectatorism" in society.
Be a HERO! Get involved! Leave your kids at home, and go see this one!

Bring On The Black Samurai!

In the tradition of classic Samuari movies, "The Book Of Eli" takes you on an unforgettable journey of action and adventure!
Denzel is a real Lone Wolf and nails this character! And the Hughs Brothers create a desolate world in which he must survive and bring change.
Gary Oldman is brillant! I love it when he plays a villian! Mila Kunis added the cuteness and humor that this story needed. Not to mention she is beautiful to watch.
There's a good message in this one too. And a twist at the end that even got me!Remember "Ghost Dog" with Forrest Whitaker? Well, this one takes the Black Samurai to another level!
Yes, I recommend this movie.
