Lots of action, no doubt, and pretty cool graphics, but if you are looking for James Bond, cool, suave, 'shaken, not stirred', you wont find it here. The plot was loosely connected, and at the end of the movie, it still isn't brought full circle. Def. not the best Bond movie. Save your money......wait for the DVD. However, die hard Bond fans will no doubt take their chances.
After the first big scare (face in the window), it seemed like everything was so predictable. You pretty much knew that just about every minute, something else was going to pop out, creep up, or bang. Also, the end was unclear...........was it a cult?, or for some sort of initiation? It certainly leaves you on the edge of your seat at times, but really doesn't leave much to the imagination.
My kids and I loved the first movie, "The Lion, ,the Witch, and the Wardrobe". So, when we heard that this was coming out, we couldn't wait to go see it. Unfortunately, this time, it seems like the movie lacked the freshness and lustre of the first, and it was hard to follow what exactly was going on. Too many fight scenes, similar to LOTR, and lots of history that wasn't explained very well. This movie would probably be ok for older kids, but even if your little ones loved the first one, I'd hold off on this, ,and wait for the DVD to come out. That way, when they fall asleep, it t will be on your couch, and not in an uncomfortable theatre seat.
