Too much George Lucas?

I don't know who came up with the idea of mixing Indiana Jones and Star Wars, but the outcome is a bit absurd. Like the character "Ox", who goes crazy from staring into the eyes of the skull for too long, I think George Lucas pushed a little too far in the 19 years between this and the previous Indy films. Luckily, although the concept and storyline are some of the most ridiculous I have seen to date, the acting and longtime love of the series carried me through what otherwise would have been one of the most mediocre films of the season.
Yes, I recommend this movie.
