Horrible Movie

I have to say that I can usually find a saving grace about a movie. Heck, I even liked 'Wing Commander" but this movie was deplorable. There was not one good thing about it. The acting was less than average, the plot was an insult to Jim Cameron, and the overall direction they took the series in didn't make sense. The only good thing about it would be the sfx but that is hardly something that could save this movie from itself.
No, I do not recommend this movie.

Overall, it was an ok movie I gave it a solid C+, I lauged, I was amazed, and I even felt a little sad at one point. However, I thought that Steven and George tried to hard to make this movie work. What really made me upset was the fact that some of it was too incredible even for an "Indy" movie, i.e. when he climbs into a refrigerator (lead lined) to survive a nuclear bomb test at "secret Nevada military instillation" and gets thrown clear out of the house, a good few miles away from the blast, and rolls out of it almost completely unscathed even I said to myself...." are you kidding?!". For me, what made the Indy movies so great was that yes, they were incredible but they had that little bit of reality thrown in there to make you believe that this could happen to any Tom Dick or Harry in the world. But I didn't feel it with this one, you definately felt George Lucas' touch on this , and I think that overall, it did not live up to it's hype and could have been a lot better.
Yes, I recommend this movie.
