OK, so it was the midnight show. Indiana Jones is worth losing sleep over, right? Definitely! With homages to past Indiana Jones films and an Indy and Marion Ravenwood that weathered the passing years exceedingly well, a score which brings back some of my favourite musical themes and a fast-paced script directed as only Spielberg can, what's not to love about this film? Cate Blanchett is as good a villain as she is an Elf Queen or Queen of England. Shia La Boeuf has big footsteps to follow in, but takes the stride well, and Ray Winstone, a long way from Will Scarlet in "Robin of Sherwood" is wonderful as Mac. A definite Summer Sizzler!
