Need to read several reviews before you buying tix

I read several very short reviews re: this movie, and they didn't really prepare me for the actual movie. I simply wasn't prepared to see a nature movie with a very slow moving story woven between scenes.
Below are a sampling of quotes from big reviewers that, to me, put together describe the movie... these are all from POSITIVE reviews:
"Both sharply smart and maddeningly elusive," "It's overflowing with powerful images that will stay with me a long time, even if I still can't explain some of them." "Daring in concept, occasionally daffy in execution and ultimately unforgettable" ""The Tree of Life" is long, often redundant and certainly on its own wavelength." No, I do not recommend this movie.
