Even though you know what you're getting into with an IJ movie (a few corny lines, some exciting but unrealistic action sequences, etc.), this was way over the top. One character swings from branch to branch in the jungle and eventually meets back up with a high-speed chase?...I mean, seriously?
The plot was totally thrown together and characters were extremely underdeveloped. The dialogue was so forced and cheesy that I actually had the urge to walk out of the theater. "Knowledge is the treasure..."?....C'mon.
I would definitely not recommend this movie. I was a huge IJ fan as a kid and this was quite the let down. I know the 19 yrs. between movies makes a big difference but this wasn't even close.
No, I do not recommend this movie.
