While there were some differences from the book, I thought the story as a whole was very well done. If you're a fan of the Narnia books, I would definitely recommend that you see this movie. Also, stay through the ending credits to hear Switchfoot's original song, "This is Home," written specifically for this movie. I can't wait for the third Narnia installment!
