This movie is incomparable to the earlier Keaton films... incomparable! The colorful wacky villains of batman days of yorn are extinct! This is Batman all grown up with actual sinister villains and intensly virtuous heroes. This aint your daddy's Batman for sure! The performances by the all star cast (excluding Katie Holmes... or was that Maggie Gyllenhall? Can't really tell the difference so does it even matter...) are un-be-lievably believeable! A grown man dressed up in a batsuit has never been more serious! Heath Ledger- AWESOME, Crazy Awesome!!! See the movie. Christian Bale, Morgan Freeman, Michael Caine, Gary Oldman, Aaron Eckhart- all phenomenal performances! The cinematography was excellent, the sound was amazing- the action - fantastic- all together to submerse you into this amazing film! SEE IT! Seriously See it now!

Not what I expected

If you aren't going into the movie with expectations of the sequel being anything like the first movie then the experience will most likely be much more enjoyable! However, for fans of The Lion, The Witch and The Wardrobe the return to Narnia is going to be much darker, more adult and more people oriented than the first and possibly a let down in comparison. Without giving too much away, I will just say that there are notable absences within the realm of the Narnians which made the first movie so special and magical. The CG is still phenomenal though and well worth renting on DVD...
