It was hard to review this movie, some parts were pretty good, I love Cedric and the rest of the cast. But I never quite got the feel of Tom Hanks 'falling in love' with Julia Roberts. They are obviously friends and would make a better brother/sister duo. Some really good points on the economy were well done but could have been better. I love Tom Hanks, he is adorable.
But overall, cute and entertaining but not 100%.
My husband and I went (we are 49) and the rest of the audience was well above our age......70 to 90 at least. they seemed to really like it though, so maybe more movies should be made for that audience???
Yes, I recommend this movie.

We took our 2 eighth graders to see the movie.
One had read the books the other had not.
Overall it is a good movie to go to. Not for younger kids at all, as it really should have been rated PG 13. I couldn't tell sometimes if the kids in the movie where middle schoolers or college level, as it jumps from some adult story lines, to cheesy movie kid scenes. Overall My kids really liked it, but there always has to be a view scenes that send some borderline messages.
Medussa's scene is too long and younger kids where screaming and parents were running to get them out of the theatre.
Yes, I recommend this movie.

My husband and I really liked it. The ending is great. Stick around for the late out takes.
Funny and romantic. Has some good teaching moments for ladies who are starting to date guys and what goes on in their heads!
All the stories seem to blend into each other really well and keep you wondering what the endings for all the charachters are going to be.
Yes, I recommend this movie.

We brought 2 12 year olds and they both really liked it. It was better than the adult movies we had been to recently. Not sure really little kids would get the plot, yes there was one!
Yes, I recommend this movie.

Our group of 46 year olds down to 12 year olds where ready to walk out after an hour and a half of continuous killing and mentally psychotic rambles. It is 2 1/2 hours of constant gruesomeness. There where little girls sitting in front of us crying and a lot of woman walking out. I think everyone in the theatre kept hoping at some point the slaughtering would end and there would be a sense of purpose to it all somehow. Never happens, and the sick images stick with you unfortunately for a day or two. If this is what America findsentertaining we are all in trouble........and how sad for this to be Heath Ledgers last performace. Portraying a very sick human being that no one had the guts to save.
No, I do not recommend this movie.
