Talk about an adrenaline rush. Some people will say that this movie is simply a combination of other action movies we all know. I will agree, with one caveat: it’s a combination of what we liked the most from action movies we know. The characters are likable, there is a plot to go along with the amazing special effects and the actors really pull it off. I wasn’t aware of the origin of the story until after I saw it, so I watched it with an open mind as the film unfolded. The end, which some may feel oozed with Velveeta, left me on an up note… so much so that I stayed until the end of the credits hoping for more.
Yes, I recommend this movie.

if you expect this to be the best Indy yet, you will walk away disappointed. if you want a 4th installment of a franchise that still makes you laugh, smile, cringe and even a little sappy - you're in luck. kids who have never seen Indiana Jones on the big screen and "big kids" who have been waiting for his return should both enjoy this film. my only regret is that the story served more as a vehicle for the next special effect and somehow "dumbed down" the ever clever Indiana.
Yes, I recommend this movie.
