Filling in gaps

This movie seemed to fill in gaps. I was expecting more though. It was slow at times. The history of the "Dark Lord" was interesting, but the love story of Ron was unnecessary. I felt as if they were just filling in gaps where there was no story.
Yes, I recommend this movie.
