I loved the first, and knew that the 2nd would be more "grown up" and a bit more violent, so I hesitated when my 4 year old begged me to take her to this one. The length scared me, as well as the previews violence portayed, but I caved and took her, prepared for the worst. It was too grown up for a pre-schooler, not as "cute" as the first, but she handled it like a trooper. She covered her eyes alot but sat through it, and ultimately ended up laughing and at the edge of her seat, rooting on Peter in his battle. I wouldn't do it again with a 4 year old, but it was a great film, and it did not feel like 2.5 hours!
Yes, I recommend this movie.
