At first seeing it the movie has a very dark overtone to it filled with dispair and a fantasy world run down I compared it to how Star Wars had a very happy feel to the first one, and the second one had no hope. You feel with Prince Caspian where he can't help who his people are desparate to take the throne, but finds that he is the only one who can be the one who can best rule this fantasy world and put it back to a time where happiness and joy rises again as long as you believe with a little faith anything can happen.
Yes, I recommend this movie.
