This movie is not for the bandwagon fans who jump on movies like Iron Man and Batman. This is not a superhero movie. It is a movie that happens to have superheroes in it.
That being said, I loved it. I have not read the comics, but knew the basic plot, so I vaguely knew what to expect storywise. It seemed to stay along the lines of the story.
Acting was solid. No academy awards, of course.
Action was pretty good, but would've liked to see another minute in each scene.

If you don't like movies that you need to actually pay attention to, don't go to this. You won't enjoy it. If you like detail ridden movies, you'll love this.
A little more blue penis than I like, too, but the excellent story makes up for it. :D

The movie was a great sequel to Batman Begins. There was action from start to finish. Don't be pulled in by all the "Oscar Hype" There isn't any of that in here by Heath Ledger, however, his performance as the Joker was as good if not better than Jack Nicholson's. The only other drawback to it is that Katie Holmes didn't take up her role again. Not a big deal, but still a bummer just for the sake of continuity. If not for Iron Man, I'd say this was the best action movie of the year. Go see it!
