I have been patiently awaiting the release of Prince Caspian. I grew up on the stories, and loved the first film. I went to see this Saturday night, and loved it so much that I will probably go see it again!
The special effects and the battle scenes were magnificent!! Some news critics were saying that it may be "too dark" for kids, but I disagree. If you'll let your child see Spiderman or Lord of the Rings, they can definitely see Prince Caspian.
