Exceeded my high expectations

Absolutely amazing. I went into this film with extremely high expectations. I've loved Christopher Nolan's work in the past and Batman Begins was the standard for my favorite comic book movie. Dark Knight met and then exceeded everything I hoped it would be. Ledger's performance stands out as nothing short of incredible and the other actors should not be forgotten in their performances as well. Bale is playing the role he was always meant to and his tortured anguish at seeing the people he loves in trouble is difficult to watch. The script and plotline are perfect. Congratulations Mr. Nolan. I loved every second of it. You know something has to be right about a 2 1/2 hour movie when at the end you are begging it not to be over.
Yes, I recommend this movie.
