I took my two preteen boys and we all three loved it. It actually holds your attention and at the end we couldn't believe it was over already. Very exciting, full of adventure and beautiful cinematography. The battle scenes are not too bloody or graphic. Some of the creatures are kind of scary so very young kids might scare. Overall we loved it and it was even better than the first.
Yes, I recommend this movie.
