I was pleasantly surprised by this movie...it was relatively clean - definitely something I could bring my younger sister to (unlike Bride Wars) and HILARIOUS! My friend and I were laughing a lot during the movie and I left the theater feeling very upbeat and happy, a great feel-good movie. A wonderful choice for a girls' night out. 4 stars because it's not something I would want my brothers or male friends to see (too much legs and cleavage).
I would have given this movie 5 stars, except that it does stray from the storyline. I won't spoil it for those who haven't seen the movie by telling what the scene was; suffice it to say that, even though the scene wasn't in the books, the action was amazing. I do feel, however, that they shouldn't have included it. The scene wasn't necessary, it lengthened the film, and it made Peter (my personal hero) look bad.
When the movie was over, I didn't want to leave the theatre; I felt like I was walking out of Narnia. That's how amazing the cinematography is. I was transported to Narnia for 2.5 hours and it was glorious. Go see this movie!
