Wonderful footage but a bit depressing!

The photography was just wonderful however I felt the movie was a bit slow at times and a bit depressing. There was a lot of talk of global warming effecting the animals habitat. I expected more of a "wonders of nature" type of thing as opposed to a true documentary. We took a Girl Scout troop and many of the girls walked out very sad, that had not been my intention when I chose to take them there.

Your kids will love it! Choreography and singing were predictably great...plot okay but the kids will think it was great!!

Good movie but very violent

I took 4 kids to the movie last night ages 8 and 9. Although nobody was crying it was very violent with lots of long battle scenes. It reminded me alot of Lord of the Rings in the story line and battle scenes. There were lots of little kids there and I can only imagine that they had their parents up with nightmares all night.
