This movie was absolutely terrible. I am a huge fan of the books and the symbolism contained within them. The makers of this movie did not stay true to the author or his intentions. They were trying to play to the audience to make money to fill their greedy pockets without considering that these are books with beautiful symbolism. The story in the books was strong enough. I don't understand why they added completely different scenes and an unnecessary love story. I loved the first movie, but this one was a disappointment. I cringe to think what they will do to the next films.
No, I do not recommend this movie.
