Good movie not very scary

I have to admit when they said scariest movie I was really expecting something to freak me out. This was more about the building of suspense than actual in your face scare and I think that was done very well! The overall movie to me was boring and the gratuitous use of the "F" word was distracting to say the least. There are so many ways that this film could have gone but I figured the end out within the first 30 min of the movie. I guess having lived in a haunted house made me immune to most of the scenarios but it is a great premise and interesting idea and I commend the director for showing Hollywood that you can make a good suspense for under 20K
Yes, I recommend this movie.

I was excited for this movie! I didnt think Sommers could fail, I would soon learn that not everything lives up to the hype. There were so many people from the Mummy movies I was waiting for Rachel Weitz to save the day. Ray Parks was awesome his fight sequences saved the movie. Other sequences high on the BS meter were very good but digital elements looked pasted on with little continuity. This was so distracting at times I fell asleep out of boredom. Also When does ice sink, dont pretend it will does for effect. The political statement made about nano-tech could have been more subtle there was no reason to constantly show marks on characters. I am not saying don't see the movie just realize that its a B-flick not worth all the hype.
No, I do not recommend this movie.

This Movie Was Mind-blowing --- NOT for children

I was lucky enough to score tickets to a premiere event. I am probably the only guy in my 30's who hadn’t yet read the series. It was nothing less than Mind-blowing. Watchmen is a ultra-violent visceral experience that grabs hold the first frame and isn't over for a heart pounding 3 hours. I can't wait to see it again. Some argue the violence has been seen before, its slow motion take no prisoners approach as we all marveled at in 300. Zack has developed a specialized skill at being able to make violence look beautiful. The fight sequences were more than 300 could have ever imagined being. I think Zach has proved to us all that the impossible can be made a reality and Zack I salute you for it!
Yes, I recommend this movie.

I have seen many Cirque shows and this is unlike anything they have done it was just fantastic. I knew that this was a different type of show more of a performance rock concert than the typical Cirque style I hope that they do another round with the traveling show I will be first in line to get my tickets!! If you are a true Cirque fan you will love the performance aspect just realize that it is a truly different style of show.
Yes, I recommend this movie.

After the hype I was really expecting a movie that could live up to the first. The characters were flat and the story was emotionless and slow. I was really disappointed in how the hero characters looked mechanical in some scenes especially the forest scenes when they first meet up with the kids. The one minotaur looked like he had a broken ear it kept twitching in an unnatural way. I guess I am more critical than most because I work in the industry I was really looking forward to this movie I loved the first one I thought it was spectacular I hoped that this would follow with the same emotional power and spectacle. The main problem was there was no clearly defined protagonist. It kept going from one person to the next. In the first you had the White Witch played by the amazing Tilda Swinton she was the one you could focus all of your attention to here you had multiple people from the king the kings court and the kings army it was just missing a focus I felt. I did think that the effects were brilliant the massive effect sequences used in the battle were top notch along with the cgi character work that Rhythm & Hues amazed us with in the first. I think technically it stands up to the first but the story fell really short of amazing.
Yes, I recommend this movie.
