Compared with the original Fame movie, this is teenybopper trash with limited focus on the artistic achievements of the kids in PA and attemps at character development that fail miserably. If you're a 14 year old girl and have never seen a good movie before, you may enjoy it, Otherwise stick with the original.
No, I do not recommend this movie.
