This rock doc is a great window into the formative years of RUSH. While I know quite a bit about the boys from Toronto, I still found some surprising info and was thoroughly entertained by their stories and photos from the early years. Even if you're not a fan, you'll enjoy the stories behind the songs and the bond of respect, passion and friendship that has held these 3 together for 4 decades. Gentlemen, to the future....
While this movie was not a true representation of the original, it was a fun campy send up. Many of the actor protrayals were over the top, but it made my husband and I laugh. And finally, Scotty had a realistic Scottish brogue. The special effects were great, and as far as IMAX goes, it was great to see this movie on this big a screen. Some of the battle scenes actually made me dizzy, that doesn't happen on the regular screen. All in all a good movie experience.
