I loved the first and couldn't really see how they would make prince caspian as interesting. However I was pleasantly surprised.
I still don't understand the unneeded and badly developed romance but whatever. The effects were awesome and there were several scenes that really hit home with me. I love Lewis' ability to discretely point his characters and themes to the Bible. It was truly a treat to watch.
