The movie followed the book nicely, although I fear that without reading the book some might miss out a little. I felt that it got the key points across but didn't explain the relationships of the wolf pack and the Voluturri as well as the book did. Overall the movie was better than the first, better effects and acting. However, I wasn't totally sold on the closeness of Jacob and Bella as I was reading the book. My 15 year old daughter who hasn't read the book loved it though, as well as generally the entire crowd while we watched it. Some surprisingly funny moments mixed in with the smoldering hot love tension. Would definitely see it again and cannot wait for the next!
