All the magic was sucked out of the story! Aslan barely played a part in the movie and what was with King Peter being a jerk?! The whole point is that they have changed and do good things because they have met Aslan! Peter is high king for a reason! And it didn't even seem like he repented for his actions when he met Aslan in the end. There was no trembling awe before Aslan as in the book. Yes, it was visually pleasing and the battle scenes were thrilling but that's any movie nowadays. They tried to do a Lord of the Rings, but failed. The most disappointing part was the little crush between Caspian and Susan. What really was the point of that kiss? Narnia was never about the romance! Such a big disappointment!
No, I do not recommend this movie.
