When my wife said she wanted to see this, I was sceptical. So I looked up movie times and watched the trailer. The music got my attention as did the dancing.
This is one of those movies we will buy on DVD and watch many more times!
I understand setting up the background but putting a teenager in the light that it is okay to be disrespectful to his step father (pig or not) in such a blatant way went overboard. We need better examples of respect for authority. it could have been handled better.
The rest of the movie picked up the pace and was very enjoyable. Good action sequences.
I took my 13 yr old to see it before I took my younger kids. Thankfully.
Some stuff in here that i wouldn't want my 7 yr old seeing, and more importantly repeating. The movie itself is wonderful with almost nonstop action. The few places where Shia and Megan are 'together' were done well and not too graphic. Its the dog humping and language that were out of place and almost looked to be added for no purpose.
the little kids will see it on DVD when I can FF past some of those scenes.
After I read the DaVinci Code, I heard about Angels & Demons and read it too. When I saw Code, I was a little disappointed in the departure from the book. Not so with Angels - it followed the book more closely and I think that Tom Hanks did a better job this time as Robert Langdon. As long as you look at it from the standpoint of a fictional movie, it is very well done. You can't get caught up in the Catholic vs Iluminati philosophy if you want to enjoy it.
A great movie about marriage but it also makes you think about how (and why) you treat others the way you do. Is it because of what YOU want or because you want to do it FOR them. Principles here would relate to relationships between parents and children as well as co-workers. Good wholesome movie I will see again - and purchase when it comes out. God Bless Sherwood Pictures!
My wife and went to see the latest Indy on a Friday afternoon. Obviously the critics reports have disuaded others from going to see the movie - there were only 20 people in the theatre.
We really enjoyed the movie - it kept us entertained and intrigued throughout. There are a few spots where you knew what would happen next but most movies have that somewhere. The ending is a little hokey but ties up the story with a bow. It also leaves openthe chances that "Junior" will follow in his father's and grandfather's footsteps!
I was impressed with the movie. I took my three sons to the movie - and although a little worried about it being PG-13 (they are 6-12), there was only one scene that made me question the rating and only a few bad words. The movie was very good and had a great plot and good action scenes. I would recommend this movie to anyone - well worth the money!
