Raiders Is My #1 Movie Of All Time!

OK, anyone who knows me will tell you that Raiders of the lost Ark is my MOST Favorite movie of all time. So coming from a Serious Indiana Jones Fan.......I thought this movie was very good. Was it as good as I had hoped....well, no. The Alien thing I have to say disappointed me. I didn't like having Cate Blanchett in it. Although she did a wonderful job, I don't like any other well-known (non-Indy) actors in the movie. I didn't mind Shia being in it, b/c he may very well continue the legacy, AND he didn't "take-over" the movie. I LOVED that Harrison Ford was still the MAIN guy and did his "thing". The "battle" scenes were pretty out there, and they should have died or been much more brutally injured then they were, but that aside, I still enjoyed it and cheered. I loved the surprise "guest" and the ending was nice for us Indy fans! I would give it a B. As for it's place in my top 4 Indy Movies...It ranks third. Raiders #1, Temple #2, Crystal Skull #3, and Last Crusade#4.
Yes, I recommend this movie.
