for sure Mr. Penn has pulled off yet another remarkable performance and who could fault Van Sant's direction -not too much noise for Best Director though? but given the sole purpose of my viewing was to see how Penn stacked up Langella and Rourke, I left disappointed. good movie, great acting but not worthy of the same kind of attention being paid to the characters of Ram Robinson and President Nixon.
Yes, I recommend this movie.
