My 5-year old had fun at the movie and I also enjoyed the film and liked several things about it. I liked that they didn't try to make all of the textures look like real people/robots/ships. I enjoyed the fluidity and movement of the animation as opposed to mixing real and CGI. As far as the story goes, it moved. I liked seeing more of the characters and how they acted in these unseen situations. It was great seeing the Jedis serve as generals and watching the decisions they made. The saber fights were great.
A friend said it best, "If you're a Star Wars purist, you're not going to like it. But if you just like the story, light saber fights, and explosions, you'll enjoy it." I think he hit it on the head.
I saw this with my 4-year old son. We both had a great time. He totally enjoyed the movie. I totally enjoyed it too. It was entertaining, funny, heartwarming, sad, and delightful. Take your kids. It's a great time.
I am not a big comic book reader and never have been, but I knew exactly what was going on with this story. They did a great job developing the character and it really centered around Tony Stark, not Iron Man.
Great detail. Great action. Inspired a great sense of righteous justice. Awesome film!
It was an amusing movie; not exceptional by any means. The humor was a bit crass for my tastes in some parts, but still grossly funny. The thing that saved this movie is the scene with President Bush—Incredibly funny, and I'm quite conservative in my political views.
