I have never seen the cartoon as a kid and didn't really know what to expect except that it was a PG/kids movie. Well, there were multiple curse words of different sorts and a little kid flipping the bird. I don't think this is a kid friendly film. Granted my 9 year old was laughing hysterically during one scene, I would not see this movie again and will NOT recommend it to others. I guess our culture is so immune to cursing that it doesn't matter to most parents, but I'd prefer my 7 and 9 year old girls not to curse or hear it in a film that should have been for kids.
No, I do not recommend this movie.
